2018 Lincoln Continental in Rapid City South Dakota

The Lincoln Continental has been revived and reinvented since 1939 when the very first Continental was born to Lincoln. After Ford bought out Lincoln during the early 1920s, during times difficulty, and since then has been producing models, with a little bit of the Ford design in mind, to reinvent the line of Lincoln models. The Lincoln Continental was taken off the line after only ten years of production. Ford planned to introduce a Mercury-Lincoln vehicle mix.

In present day we witness Lincoln's introduction, which was long overdue. Some key features include a secure PIN-code keyless-entry system with an E-latch door that opens to reveal a welcome mat with the Lincoln Star Logo, as well as a "spacious" interior with Bridge of Weird Deepsoft leather. You won't have a problem getting comfortable in this car.

Remarkably like the Ford Fusion RS the Continental has a Sync 3 and the AWD system, the Continental comes with comfy Scottish leather, and three different interior designs, Thoroughbred, Rhapsody, and Chalet.

Owners will discover, behind the signature grille, this Continental is equipped with a 305 horsepower 3.7-liter, V6 Engine, and 6-speed transmission. The driver and passengers get to choose their ideal seating position with 30-way power seats with heating and cooling. Optional rear seating package complete with lumbar support and a built-in massage is also a desired feature. This luxury sedan makes room for five, has extra USB ports in the rear seat so everyone can charge their devices. Plus, passengers can experience a small champagne cooler.

Mechanically speaking, the deck has an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with a 10-speaker audio system to back it (19-speaker Revel is optional), Sync 3 technology, a power sunshade, Premier with parking sensors, rearview cameras, and HID headlights and LED taillights.

The Continental demonstrates a smooth ride and a quiet one in addition to its decent handling. The cabin contains active noise control and acoustic laminated glass, and as an option to absorb road noise, potential owners can add 20-inch foam-lined tires.

Base models start at $45,000 and can go upwards of $80,000 when fully loaded. Visit your local McKie Lincoln Dealer to learn more about a legendary car that has been stealing hearts for decades!
